Though close in geography to Vermont, NH was just different.
First, we went to this city-wide garage sale, literally a huge parking lot of tables for families to buy and sell. We picked up winter coats for the kids at a bargain! It was a hoot watching everyone bargain for their neighbors stuff.
Then we visited the two north NH homes where Mary Baker Eddy lived.
Nothing easy or pretty about her life here.
Here are the kids at the start of the tour!
The Rumney House
The North Groton House
And here they are at the end! Hope they got something out of it. :-)
And then on to a KOA near the Maine border. Time to give Buster a cleaning!
High Points by Mom:
- Garage sales anywhere you go.
- The Chocorua KOA
- Seeing MBE's two homes and getting a really good tour.
- The Walmart auto guys filling my tires for free with a smile.
- Cute coffee shops with internet, like the one in North Conway.
