Some HI friends, Gretchen and her son, Body, drove up to spend the day checking out the Botanical Garden and the Mall area near there. It was a gorgeous day and great to catch up - and there is so much to talk about too!
And the orchids were awesome.
And Body was so bummed the kids area was closed
he manhandled the doors!
On another day we met up with long time childhood friend, Robin Foy and her kids. We got to spend the night, play games, do a little Duck-Pin bowling and see her parents! Even though the kids hadnt seen each other in 4 years, it was almost like they hadnt stopped hanging each other.

A long-time friend, Toni Metcalf and her kids, met us on a few different times for fun and history. Here we are at Mannassas/Bull Run.

The only female casulty of the Civil War was here at Mannassas. She was in her 80s.
Highlights by Mom:
- Having time with the Foys after so long.
- Seeing John and Cindy Lindley, and thanks for the yummy lunch.
- Getting a chance to know Gretchen and I are playing on the same team. :-)
- The Botanical Garden is awesome.
- Seeing how cute Owen is as a "big brother" to Body.
- Getting to catch up with Toni and see Jack, Sam and Maggie!
