Country To See: Last weeks in FL and warmth

Though we only got to have lunch with Thom, he picked us up from the airport after our trip to Grenada with a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts! What a brother. He scored big with H and O.

One more week with the Macombers and then another week with the Huffords and our time in FL was over. It kept us nice and warm through the winter months and we enjoyed our time immensely. Our first day back we zipped over to see The Lego Movie. It was awesome and we all enjoyed it.

Day two back we left early and headed for 2 days at Universal Studios with Kathleen and Pilar. Having been there before, they were able to steer us to the best places at the best times. Of course we started with Harry Potter World! Butter Beer was the best, we got drunk on it!

Day 2 was just as fun!

After leaving the Macombers, we headed north to Stuart to visit with our now land-bound friends, the Huffords. They are the family who inspired our trip as they took their boys on a 2 year trimaran trip all through the Caribbean. I tried so hard to get these pics upright! You'll have to lean.

Hannah and Miles jetted off to AU for a weekend conference and got to travel with Hannah's Bunkhoue mom from long ago!

The 80 degree weather was awesome. Adrienne came for a visit at the same time, which made it more fun - I think she got more points than I! And the Macombers came up to deliver some left items and we enjoyed one last lunch.

On our way north we stopped at the Seal museum. We watched Captain Phillips the night before and the escape pod is housed here!

Our last stop in FL was Silver Springs in Ocala. It is a beautiful clear spring where we took a glass bottom boat ride. We saw lots of fish and turtles and tons of springs. I forgot to take pictures so these are things to remind us of it from the web. It was winter, not green.
